why does 90% of the people on this site just view and not reply it makes me not want to share anything ,The same 10 people reply always thats it,to the rest of you you should reply it will help your fishing more secrets will come into the mix when fisherman think you will share info instead of just take it.srry for the complaint but why should I post stuff like this when it will be 20 views for 1 reply.

I use large Houdini's + Bomber jerkbaits for stripers.

For bass, I will throw worms and jigs most of the time,...then ocassionally a buzzbait in low light conditions and sometimes a soft jerkbait or soft frog over the top of weeds.

ps: I just don't think there's that much activity on the site period,..this time of year! Wink

I understand about the inactivity for the time of year but when I see 30 views 0 replys theres something wrong, this is a great time to learn new things then apply them to your arsenal,I realize some people want to keep there stuff a secret which is fine, but thats not me.Anyway thanks for the input guys seems everybody fishes generally the same thing, also which tide do have the best luck with I prefer the outgoing fishing the main river but incoming in the coves mostly so I can get in them, cause Ive got stuck in Wrights cove and Chapmans a few times 4-7 hours in a small area is ruff but youll learn every corner of it.

I completely agree. A lot of times, I don't post because I'm still in the beginning stages and don't have much to add, but at the same time we can't leave it up to the administrators and top posters to carry the load all the time.

As soon as the site becomes like a hangout where people come just to shoot the §H!+ and stay in touch with other members, it will start to grow and people will be more open to post b/c it's a more comfortable environment.

...
Oh, and the only thing that has worked for me on the river (since I've only fished the river once) is a deep-diving Rapala husky jerk slowly trolled.

There are a lot of lurkers on this site, and my issue is that I am mostly on while I'm at work, so I don't usually have time to leave detailed replies. At home I am so busy I hardley ever turn the computer on, my over active 4 year old keeps me running.

My go to river baits are:

super flukes
bronze eye frogs
smoke grub
spinnerbaits
baby 1 minus crankbaits
jigs
bitsy bugs
pop r's
tubes
