Got mine from eBay...check Craigslist too. Mine was manufactured in 1953 so I doubt you're going to be able to find the same exact model.

We rented a cottage up in New Hampshire for a few years straight. They had one there we could use if we wanted. Threw a 12v in it with a 55lb thrust on the back. Made the mistake of goin straight to 5th gear right off the bat and almost flipped off the back. Moves quick. Real quick.

Didn't have it rigged up like that, mainly had just a cooler up front to load up with mammoth shiners. Plenty of 6+ pound bass on em.

Cool thing was when I got the motor aimin dead straight. Just stand on the middle bench and lean Very Happy

I go on vacation for a week and I miss all the fun.

Jim,

to funny brother... I use both; my Skeeter and Hobie Pro Angler. I use the Skeeter for lakes, CT river etc. Hobie for small hard to get to spots and for Striper fishing.

The Hobie is awesome and I'm not a small guy. Works great for me.

I'd rather use the Skeeter 24/7 but the Hobie can go more places where the fish are less pressured.

Talk to you soon.

Just my 0.2 cents from the couch.
