We held our organizational meeting for 2008 and still could add additional members. We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month, which for April is the 22nd. Our first tourney is scheduled for that Sat. 4/26 on Highland. Come and find out about the club and if you decide to join fish our first tourney.

This is a low key club based on having fun, making friends and helping others. We are looking for both boaters and nonboaters. It's a great opportunity for those interested in getting into Bass tournament fishing. Our club meetings feature an overview of the lakes for the upcoming tourneys as well as a debriefing of the tourney just completed to help us all learn and become better bass fisherman.

We have scheduled 8 tournaments. Fish as many or as few as you like. You will need to fish 5 to qualify for the end of season awards (Angler of the Year, Lunker and Largest Bag). We also plan on offering club trips to out of state destinations.

The local club dues are $75.00 for the season which includes the admission to the end of the season awards dinner. In addition, our club has dual affiliation which means if you would like to be a member of the TBF of CT (CT's FLW Federation) or The BASS Federation Nation (CT's B.A.S.S. Federation) or both you may do so simply by paying the State and National Dues. This will entitle you to fish the CT State Federation Trails for either organization.

We have a number of CTFishTalk participants as members already.

If you are interested send me a PM with your email address and I can email you a word document with more information. Or you can just show up at our next monthly meeting. Our meeting will be held April 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Tournament Force Tackle in Guilford. This is the meeting to attend to sign up to fish with the club in 2008.
