took a quick trip to lake fork and fished 2.5 days...long days.
the fishing was tough but it did produce some decent bass. i picked up a 9.5 pounder and my brother picked up a 11.5 pounder. both were personal bests.
both fish picked up on carolina rigged lizards in 6' of water (58-61 degree water temps) on a staging point. what made the fishing tough was the 30-40mph winds from the south!
can't wait for the spawn here in ct!
