Fished Spofford Lake in SW NH Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Sat. night I boated about 7 fish and dropped 3-4 at the boat. Water temp was 51.5 and all fish came off rocks close to drop-offs. Mostly smallies up to 2.5 lbs, but the best fish of the night was a 3+ LM. Every fish on a jerkbait.

Sunday headed out with the two Sharps. Fished the entire north shore and a few other areas. Between the 3 of us we boated about 10 fish in 3 hours. Again, mostly smallies, but a few LM mixed in. Best fish was a 2.75 lb smallie. Fish were caught on jerkbaits, tubes, grubs and a crankbait.

Smallies should be all over beds next weekend. Can't wait.
