Hey, just registered to the site.

I'm originally from Tolland, and currently live in New Britain where I've been fishing Batterson Park Pond, and another small pond closeby (next to a.w. stanley park) You can usually find me there weekdays after work. We also have a cottage in Old Lyme where I fish alot during the summer.

I'm a bit of a novice and have just recently gotten pretty serious about fishing.

Welcome to the site Lou. I know those places very well considering I lived in New Britain for close to 35 years before moving to Newington. I wish I could put a boat into that pond at A.W. Stanley but there is a sign that says no boats allowed. DAMN!!! I've lost a couple of good ones there from shore over the years. Well, glad you're here and hopefully can contribute some of your reports as well as learn from ours.

Jim
