has anyone tried this $20.00 lure. I see Vandam talk about it a bunch, but am curious if anyone on here has actually tried it...

yes i own a couple and they work well, i just swim them above the weeds, either conituously or with changes in the pace. have caught both lmb and smb with them

I own a couple as well and have caught fish on them, both lmb and smb, big ones and rats. Personally I don't think it's worth $20, but it does work.

Ive seen/heard of 6 broken ones. I boguth 2 and both broke within a month. Somehow snapped the hinge on both baits.


Its a 4dollar strike king crankbait with a 20 dollar price tag.

I've heard of guys breaking them at the hinge, but never done it myself and caught some decent fish on them...If you broke them, contact Strike King and they will replace it.

Marc I have a couple of them and do very well with them, I weight them a little,as for them breaking they will replace them, I won a tourny on amos this year on 1
