Started at 5:30 with temps at 80. Went up the river to the end of the big bay and got a small striper about 8"on a popper , new record for me. We decided to fish the east side and I grabbed a 9" smallie trolling to the new spot. Sammy Pointer gets me a perch in the 8-9" range. I'm on a roll now. Headed to seldon pond where Bob picked up a 2 lber on a senco. Great day to be out, but it is the dog days of summer already. Hopefully the lower ct river will heat up soon. Fluke are still 20-1 on keepers.
