Fished Bantam with Mike from Syracuse last night & got my Butt handed to me 7 or 8 to 2...He caught most of his fish on Top-Water..my 2 came on a Superfluke & a Chatterbait...Lots of Pics & 2 Nice Pike....

It was a great time out there. I ended up snapping a trolling motor rope and almost cutting my finger off! I went to put the lights in the boat, and stepped on the pedal. The prop got stuck in the light post, but hit my finger first. It drew blood! If that post was there, I don't know what would've happened!
Bantam is starting to get better for numbers, size was our problem last night. A bunch of cookie cutter 14" fish! They wanted that top water though. I had one fish hit when I was talking, Keith is like "Mike, I think you just got a strike." and sure enough, the fish was on! |
