Does anybody from the DEP know if Beseck Lake was recently sprayed for weeds, ie kill?

if they did there should have been a yellow sign by the boat launch.

I haven't been there, but I have a tournament there on sunday, and I can't get there to pre fish it.
There is a rumor that the weeds were sprayed, just looking to hear if this is true or False?
