So how many months a year can you bass fish in CT?

I lived in CT for a few years.... but, wasn't a bass angler then. Was there to play football in Hartford... Long story!

First of all welcome to the site Tom.

Technically you can fish for them all year, there is no closed season for bass in CT. But you must be willing to drill through ice and freeze your ass, out on a lake, not my idea of bass fishing, so I stay home, play with the kids, watch football, and work around the house. For us that fish bass tournaments, we start in April and finish up in November as a general rule. You can fun fish earlier and later in the year if you want to, but the extreme cold takes the fun out of it for me.

Tight Lines to you in Cali !
