Im still trying to buy a better boat. Its tough finding anything in the 17 foot size thats not 20 years old that can go 40-45mph on gps. I really want to fish the federation next year. I love candlewood but im sure I cant compete with alot of the guys there.

p.s. hows the new job working out?

Nick how can you say you want to fish the fed next year but you would rather have a couple boats not to show for this tourney? lol...you should be begging the best fisherman to show up. Wheres your competitive spirit? Laughing Laughing Laughing

Lots of 3-7lb bags. Two 10lb bags- an 11lb bag and a 15lb bag

John (nx8882) and toptech- had 15.82 with a 6.58lunker, he also had a heavy 5 or what appeared to be heavy 5. 3 small largies as well.

Chuck and joe had a good bag. Anchored by a heavy two maybe light 3 smallie and a 3lb largie. Somewhere in the midd 11lb range.

Steve and dave had a good bag, lots of solid 2lb+ fish- probably the most consistent bag of the day- no 4+smallie mixed in like I expected. VERY heavy 10lb bag for 3rd.

I think flippy was right below them with a solid bag as well (another big for highland smallie in there)

We caught alot of bass today and culled a few times. Just couldnt get anything over 1 3/4 or so. Lots of smallmouth. I dropped the biggest smallmouth ive ever had on there lesss then 5ft from the boat. We were in the high 7lb range with 3 smallies in the 1.75-2 class and two dinker largies.

Guys caught um in 2fow all the way down to deep (are deepest was 26fow)
