Fished the mouth of the river out of Old saybrook for a while early Sat morning. Picked up a schoolie striper on my 2nd cast with a Houdini and thought I was gonna be on them,..however that was my only fish for about an hour. Eventually got tired of chucking & winding, so I trolled a tube&worm for a while and picked up 2 more schoolies before I called it a day. Water was still in the low 50's and it was actually getting pretty warm by the time I quit at about 9AM. The fishing could have been better, but I'm not gonna complain when I'm out in the middle of Nov with just a light jacket!! Very Happy
