so my son tyler has strep throat.
so after his doctor visit we decided the best medicine would to be on the lake.
we headed out from 2- 5pm.
I decided to let him learn to run the t-motor, and fish. while I kick back and chill. i didnt even fish.
had a couple near misses, but he did real good considering he's 8.
he didnt get any on a fluke but had a few follow ups.
I then tied a 3" grub on for him and told him to fish it slow.
he caught
4 rock bass
3 smallies (1 lbers)
2 largemouth.( also 1 pounders)
2 crappie.
he had fun but the strep was taking its toll.
and he started to run a fever again.
so we called it a fun couple hours.

on the way in he asked me if he could drive the boat.
so we went nice and slow ( 20mph), and brought here all the way into lattins. I of course was sh!@@ing my pants. but he did fine.
after that, all of a sudden he wasnt sick any more! smile Ear to ear. thats my boy.
I was right there if anything happend so it was all good.
on the way home, he asked me when he can fish a tourny with me.
