Looking for some shoreline to fish the CT river around the Hartford area, or some other good rivers that are worth fishing? and suggestions.

Funny thing... I was calling on a customer this week who is right next to the Bissell Bridge boat launch. I dont know what everyone was fishing for or with but there were like 30 guys rockin it. The parking lot was half full!! There is a pretty strong current there...must be a tricky launch as well. I have been there several times..... I have never seen a trailer in the parking lot. I'm guessing it most be a good spot.
