Took the afternoon off since it was looking so dark & overcast. Unfortunately the sun came out shortly after I got on the water or it coulda been even better! Confused I had one that felt really solid break me off but I still managed to put 4 others into the boat including these two,..33 and 38" respectively! Cool The river season for them is going to be winding down here shortly,..but it appears to me like the sizes are actually increasing in the lower river right now! Very Happy

It took me 30+ years of being married before I got to this point Slimey! Besides,..my wife is a school-nurse with the whole summer off,..so she really can't complain that I take occasional afternoons to go fishing!! Razz

PD,..when the water was colder the first two or so weeks of May,...most of my fish were coming deeper on swimbaits. Since that time though, I rarely can get bit on them anymore and everything now is on, or very near the surface no matter how deep the water is! I do however have times where I just keep getting "swirled" rather than "bit" on top and some other sub-surface bait might be the trick,.... but so far I haven't found anything that works at those times!

Thanks for the tip Mark. I'd like to hook into one before the seasons over.
