ing? I'm looking to take my son fishing. I have been hitting applehill in newington and had a lot of success. I was looking to try a new place that has a ton of sunnies and some bass. Any thoughts? We will be shore fishing.

You can go to Stanley Quarter in New Britain...the one closer to CCSU. You might even pull out a couple trout or even Mill Pond there in the center of Newington

I hear ya. The skunk is garbage. I know Stanley Quarter is a bit grassy, but I've pulled out some decent bass and trout from there in the past. Just don't eat the trout.

Definately check out Mill pond in the center of Newington. Plenty of sunnies and a few small bass mixed in.

I'll second Mill Pond Park. Be careful if the ducks and geese are out in full force though....crap everywhere.
