Just wanted to add a place for people to ask questions about how to use or comments about the new photo gallery that was installed today.

If you have category suggestions and just want to share a comment here is the place.

I was gonna upload a sheetload of picks with the remote program, but it looks like the remote isnt enabled on the server side.

Here is a link, http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery_Remote:FAQ#Connecting_to_a_G2_installation:_Server_contacted.2C_but_Gallery_not_found_at_this_URL

Hello,

I just tested the Gallery Remote successfully. Please give it another try and let me know how it works out.

I see http://www.ctfishtalk.com/gallery2.php/gallery_remote2.php works, but the remote still wont connect for me.

Did you have to do anything special with the gallery remote options for it to connect for you?

Ive set user and pass, then the url to connect and tried every option in the gallery type. Ive even tried some other url's

Im thinking maybe i have to open up my firewall/router to let the returns in?

Sorry for the delay.

I didnt have to do anything custom. I entered my username and password and used http://www.ctfishtalk.com/gallery as the url. Is this the url that you are using?
