Hit the upper housy again yesterday right above the dam in falls village.

I got all of these on 7" Zoom purple salamanders. I tried rapalas and top water with no luck. The sun was shining bright into the water so sight fishing was great. I kept noticing this Smallie would keep following my bait right up to shore but not bite it... He was hanging about 8 feet away from shore.... I finally thought that he might be protecting a bed or something, so i threw a lizard thinking he would wanna attack him. Well thats exactally what happened! First cast.... BOOM! He nails it after following all my other baits with no luck...

This is him... he looked bigger in the water...
(Nice hair dude! Laughing )

so fish throw out the lizard again... but im not getting much... so i try to sight fish again and locate one... so i go up shore a little and i see this smallie swim up and hide in this little nook... so i throw it right next to him... he is like 2 feet away from me.... He Nails it first look at it...

here he is...

(I love this gallery we have now!) its so easy to add photos... Very Happy

so after that, i get another one using the same idea...

I was happy this was the end of my holiday weekend... I struggled all weekend with not much to show for really. This really helped out... That sun im sure helped out warming up that water...

They are my favorite things to catch so far in my fishing experience.
They love to fight and jump!
