Went to Silver last Sunday for another day of ice fishing. Holy crap was it cold! The wind was killer.

The fishing, was not.

My buddy and I were on the ice from about 11am-3:30pm. Caught two largemouth, one 12" and another maybe 2lbs. I missed a large pickeral within the first 15mins. I missed the hookset and as I continued to pull the bait in he came back for another swipe and stripped my hook of it's minnow. It was a nice fish, I would have liked to have caught her. Next time.

I'm enjoying the ice-fishing experience...it's definately a lot different than open water fishing.

Might be out again later this week, not sure if I'll hit Silver (it's just so convienent) or try my luck elsewhere. Either way I'll let you all know how it goes. Stay warm!
