Anybody have ice report in the last day or two,want to get out, just dont want it to be waste of time...thanks

where you fishin... Candlewood is good of the Danbury town park was there yesterday still 8+ inches or so...Fishin was slow though 1 Brown on wed.

Im up in the middle of the state,8inches is good for me though. good to hear that thanks.. by the way 1 browns better than nothing ,congrats..thanks for the info

Hi bb!

All the small waters up here in the NW corner Good and have 8" or better.
Big waters NOT GOOD AT ALL!
Colebrook -> Boat ramp to dam thin ice with some open water and lots of holes!
Hogback -> North half is ALL open water -> South half VERY Questionable!
Highland seems OK! -> But would spud my way out every few feet!

The ice on my Shiner Tank in the Garage is only about an inch... with alot of open water near the bubbler. . . NOT SAFE. Stay Home this weekend LOL !!!!

i went to the west thompson lake in the northern part of ct close to mass and theres about 8 to 10in.

Spent 10 long hours on Mt Tom today. 8" of solid black ice. Fishing was beyond slow, 1 flag all day and not even a hit jigging. Only fish i saw caught all day were a couple small perch and a small pickerel. Heading for "eyes" at Squantz tomorrow.

mid state up is fine dont be one of those people who think 10 inches of ice will melt in a week cause during the day it was in the 40s lol Laughing
