this time of the year is the worst i just cant wait to get out for the spring run i feel like a kid waiting up for santa lol i need a big bass this year and im puttin my time in.

dont wait for the run!! Get your butt to the mouth of the big rivers. They "Stage" down there. you will catch em as early as April.

I have an Easter Sunday ritual... and that is casting swimbaits from the DEP docks in Old Saybrook. . . . and watching freaked-out faces as I flip keeper sized stripers back into the drink.

i once had stipper fever but I don't want to talk about it. They are there, just go to the mouth as Scmoe stated (Thames, CT, Mystic, niantic).
