Hi, My name is Brian. I live in California, and will be coming your way in June. My sister lives in Hartford. I will be visiting her for a week in june, and plan to do some fishing. I was wondering where to go, What to fish, What to use?? Any info will help. I will be fishing from shore. Thanks A Lot.

Hello Brian!

In your Goggle search box -> Type in "Ct. Anglers Guide".
Click on the line that says (DEP Anglers Guide).
That will take you to the Ct. DEP site.
Then click on "2010 Anglers Guide".
Read through it and it will tell you all of the lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams in Ct. and what fish can be found in them.
You may then want to look at a road map of Ct. and see which waters are close to your sister's and go from there.

Have fun,
Best regards,

Wethersfield Cove is good for a lot of fish species. One of my favorite spots

Thanks Sea Dog 1
That is a great site!! I will be fishing both Fresh and Salt. I have been fishing the west coast for 25 years. It seems to be pretty much the same, Except your strippers are a whole lot bigger!!
