I got a new lucky hat, you and Johnny are gonna love it..........

No need to change baits or techniques, we laid the smack last year and plan to do the same this year.

just put together two baitcasting rods/reels and I am gonna use these to learn to flip/pitch. they might not be the best set ups ever seen, but I think they'll be decent enough to learn the technique.

New for me this year is going to be some bass fishing Wink

I've been fishing smaller rivers most of my life (not that you can't find bass there). But I'm going to start specifically targeting some bass this year. I got myself a baitcaster last fall and have been practicing and getting the hang of casting. I have some jigs, soft plastics, jerk bait and a couple of spinners I'm planning to try out. So it's all new to me.

I picked up two new Daiwa Megaforce with Twitchin bar reels for jigging.

I seen the new backstabber lure, looks good. ttp://www.backstabberlures.com/

I'll pick some up and give them a try.

Gotta try new things for the bass that are conditioned...

holy moly chuck! Id hate to see that bill! Smile good for you! You're gonna like the jackplate on your boat! It makes a big difference if it gets setup properly. Those G3's are nice boats. Whats the max hp on those things???

The max on mine is 115 but they all come stock with the 90. The boat would be a little scary with a 115...lol

Here are a few pics of the mods I did this year:

6" Jackplate:

Structure Scan Transducer:

HDS 8, Water Pressure gauge, Voltage Gage:

HDS 5 Flush Mount

LGC 4000:

Magnetic bar / Hibernet floor mounted:

Modified Rod locker:

Falcon Storage Boxes:

Ok here is something new i just found...."Tired of other anglers crowding in on your spots in tournaments when they know you are catching fish?....well no more with the "anglers assassin"..just push a button and any boat within 50 feet will be pummled by a super large boxing glove...no mess...no fuss..just get your spot back.
*warning, device should not be deployed unless other anglers fail to yeild after one dirty look from you or your partner.
