Guys please share some experience or info where can I go fishing for big boys, tuna, shark, etc. I am from Stamford area, so preferably not too far away, dont really wanna drive that much. How many hours does the trip usually take, prices, I fish alone, dont have any fishing buddies, possible just to go with someone else like a party boat etc

Thanks

There are a few party tuna boats down New Jersey way. I don`t recall them by name. Also what you can do is call a few charter captains and ask if they have a open spot for you to go and you can whack up the price with the rest of the party.
The only reason you should head that way is because its better to drive 3 hours by car and 1-2 by boat then 2 hours in your car and 4-5 by boat.
You could also head towards Rhode Island or Mass but its a longer boat ride and on many occasions of less then perfect weather its a tough long ride.

Hi!

Shark and Tuna charters are run out of Montauk Point, Long Island, N.Y.
Also some head boats run out of Montauk.

Each year there's a huge Shark Tourny from there.
