DV mentioned fishing the Housatonic River in Massachusetts to me yesterday and I ran across this article today:

http://www.bostonherald.com/news/regional/view.bg?articleid=1270148&srvc=rss

DV said something about unnaturally-colored fish. Has anyone who has fished the lower Housatonic in Connecticut seen any strange or unhealthy-looking fish out of it? I know that Phish and his brother recently caught some healthy-looking smallies there.

During my short time fishing Connecticut waters, the only strange-looking fish I've seen was a largemouth bass I caught in the Bantam River that was yellowish on the parts that are normally white and had an extra set of nubby fins just forward of its tail.
