Yesterday, I asked the guys at EMS in Avon to put a 24-hour hold on a lime-colored Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 for me. After sleeping on it last night, I decided that the Pungo would be duplicative of El Habañero in my little fleet. I never remember dreams, I'm not even sure that I have them, but if I do, I must have dreamt about standing up while fishing. So I headed over to Connecticut Outdoors in Oakville today and took the sand-colored 2010 Wilderness Systems Ride 135 Angler off of Dave Faber's hands:

Guess who'll be out on the water tomorrow? Whoo hoo!

Thanks, again, Dave! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Hey, Dawg! You know that you're always welcome to paddle her. I wanted us to be ready for striper fishing in the Spring. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

I got a good deal. She was $1,020, plus tax. She has two flush-mount rod holders, one Scotty deck-mount rod holder, a pedal-operated rudder and an anchor, but no anchor trolley. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

My husband suggested the name "Palindrome." I suggest the name "Intervention." Your story on kayak hoarding would make a great episode: "Phil, will you please accept this gift of treatment for your kayak addiction today?" *Phil checks forecast.*
