				| Fished there early this afternoon, very safe ice (6"), stuck to off the parking/beach area. Others hiked up to northern end and around to eastern cove with no problems. The ice-fishing gods got me again today......set up tip-ups, jigged a bit.....no action for a good hour, nature was calling, hit the out house (how sweet is it when you get a functioning situation with 3 rolls of t.p. at the ready!). Exiting with a new outlook on things, and....you guessed it, a flag. 12' of line peeled out and a dropped shiner. Got me thinking that over the years a good walk to shore to deplete the bladder has often changed the action of the day for the better. Have fun tomorrow, with all the snow we got, wouldn't be surprised if the park roads won't be plowed. | |

				| fishdude - I was talking with SeaDog1 about Mount Tom Pond today. You might have missed one of those broodstock salmon or one of those large trout that Daryl and I saw in the Fall. Like I always tell my daughter, "There are no potty breaks in fishing!" Set the hook and pull it out next time. I want to see a photo! _________________

				| Great call PECo, just like the folks made us do before a long road trip, hit the head before setting up, even if you don't have to! | |

				| Saw quite a few people out there on Tuesday as I was driving by unfortunately on my way to work. They were spread out in all areas so whole pond looks to be safe. Bring a shovel! | |
