Went out for first trip with nephew who live in East Hampton. Ice was 7" fished from 6:30 to 6:00pm. We jiged and used tipups. We did pretty well 17 yellow perch, 1 white perch and 1 15" SMB. We fished past dark to try to get a couple walleyes, with no success. All in all a good trip.
