!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE NOTE THAT LOCATIONS HAVE CHANGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The DEP has requested that we swap our last two locations due to a potential zebra muscle outbreak in Zoar and Lilly. Due to the new DEP ruling they do not want any tournament series, that are scheduled within 1 week of each other, to go immediately from Zoar or Lilly to Candlewood or other bodies of water that they feel are susceptible to Zebra Muscle outbreaks. Therefore they have requested that we swap our August 21st Candlewood tournament with our August 14 Zoar tournament. Please be aware of the Zebra Muscles when leaving Zoar and Lilly and wash your boats before entering other bodies of water. Please see the revised locations below.

These are the corrected tournament locations.
May 8th Highland
June 5th Lillinonah
July 24th Candlewood
August 14th Candlewood
August 21st Zoar

Paul

Just as an FYI the West Tournament, which Jamie and I run, is still $50 a tournament. Also, we already have several new teams that have prepaid for the year. We are highly suggesting that you contact us in advance and send in the money in advance to secure your position in each of our tournaments. The main issue right now is Highland and the amount of boats that the state allows there per a tournament. Please contact Jamie at 203-510-8805 to secure your spot for the 2011 season. We look forward to seeing you on the water.

The question came up that can you fish tournaments alone if your partner cant come and the answer is yes you can fish any or all of the tournaments alone but you must declare your partner for the regionals and nationals by the 2nd tournament. Also you can use an immediate family member for a fill in for your partner (wife, son, daughter, father, mother, sister, brother) and the immediate family member must bring an ID. If you qualify for the regionals or nationals then you cannot have a subsititue but you can fish alone in the regionals or nationals if you choose.

We have 14 teams committed for the full 5 tournament West trail season. As of right now our remaining permits are for 25 boats. We anticipate a full field of 25 in each of the remaining tournaments.

One spot opened up at Highland. As of today we have 17 boats fishing the entire trail. As it stands right now the last 4 tournaments have 8 spots remaining. Please call Jamie at 203-510-8805 iimmediately if you are interested in the last spot at Highland or the remaining spots for the rest of the tournament.
