Fished the Housy after work from Boardwalk Marina in stratford, right under the I95 bridge. Throwin a 9 inch white slugo, caught a few shorts, it was fun.....

oh yea i was fishin with Jaoquin Pheonix

Jomonkey go down to the niantic river, toss out a three way with a about 2 oz of lead and a squid strip into the current, usually works

not bad

i caught mine on a 6in maybe 6½in white salt impregnated slugo
with an egg head weighted hook
I let the current make the bait drag the bottom....

what way do u guys rig ur slugo

Nice! I like the "Disguise" there. You might have a tough time fishing the niantic river, especially where it meets the sound under the railroad bridge. They're replacing the bridge and will be off limits to civilians for at least another two years. Unless you know of somewhere up river, or have a boat. Just a heads up. Or just get yourself a hard hat and a vest, I won't kick you out. I might just fish with you Laughing
