Im not much of a trout fishing person,usually fishing for bass,but I found this little area right near my house so I figured Id give it a try,and on the 1st day I caught this trout...It was about 14" long.Caught it on a Rapala Trout colored shallow diver as you can see in the picture.

Nice fish. Looks delicious. Very Happy

Like yellow perch, trout sure seem to like to eat their own. . . . Shocked

Ya I was thinking the same thing...When I brought him in I was like,man this thing is a cannibal lol

at first I thought this was a newer post , I saw first trout and thought this was from 2012 sorry , STILL NICE FISH !
Im new to the area I live in Brooklyn Ive been looking and asking coworkers if they know of any great places to fish , they all say chase ? or old pond ? ever been to either ?

Try Beach Pond (Ct. - RI) -> Has everything + Trout and Salmon.
