only one fish but an interesting day.
One pickerel, pulling a weightless texas rigged zoom curly tail worm over lilly pads

I saw several bass swimming around and a large crappie went by me.

I was getting lots of short strikes, and I lost one bass that I dont think was hooked, just hanging on to the tail of the worm. I think these hits were from bass protecting breeding areas, none seemed to connect.

Ton of turtles out, geese sitting on eggs, so a blue bird for the first time in a while,

Its a good place, esp for us paddlers, lots of places to hide from the wind, the lake turns into a river you can paddle up.
Yes at times you cant forget there is much more to see and do out on the water then catch fish.
