I have a mercury outboard motor, and it is in need of service. Are any of you guys aware of a good Outboard motor shop in the North West Hills/ Farmington Valley area?

Well, I have a Johnson 4 hp motor and you know how the bigger boats engines go up when taking out of the water? The lever is jammed and it wont go up. I just got the boat from my grandfather and could you tell me how to try to put it up so when im launching it i can lower the engine so it doesnt hit the pavement? You would help alot.
