I shore fished Stub Pond for 1-1/2 hours, from 8:20 am to 9:50 am, while my son was at a Driver's Ed class. It was sunny and warm. It hit 81 degrees by the time that I left. A west breeze moved in while I was there. I think that the largemouth bass in the small section of the pond that I've been fishing have found me out. I got only one hit on which it was worth trying to set the hook and I missed it. Other than some small hits from some small fish, I got nothing else. I'll put a kayak in the water tomorrow and check out the rest of the pond.

I went back this evening from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, while my kids were at their kempo karate class. The bite was definitely more active. I had a hit from a small largemouth bass and gently pulled my frog away from it, but it wouldn't give up, so I set the hook on it Twisted Evil :

I had a few more hits, but missed the hookset on the only two decent ones I got. I might still be able to catch fish there. Very Happy

I paddle and fish at Fisher Meadows fairly often. The pond is called Spring Pond or Spring Lake.
