I have a couple of cannon sport trolls on my 14' boat. i use them for everything from trout and salmon, to striper and blues. they"re hand crank with 5 LB weights.
easy to use and very affective.
line counter reels work the best for me that way i know exactly how far back i am with every set. i have a few of the cabelas depthmaster gold linecounters, been using them for years with no problem. i use depthmaster tournament eyeless 8'6" rods. also use a couple of SP1170-2M 7' ugly sticks (gotta love those ugly sticks)
you can PM me if you want to know some tricks and tips
Hope this helps
Rich
