| I have used Bass pro reels in the past and thought they were bad. I am sure some of the other bass guys will chime in here. Stick with a Daiwa or Shimano and you can't go wrong!!!! |

check and c what reel they compare to physically. Then price shop the brands and choose. You can spend 300 on a reel and hate it or 50 bucks and love it.
Also try and find what company makes the Bass pro reel.It may be like the stop and shop brand of shakespare with a different sticker. _________________ Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of food, electricity, gas, and oil, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off. |

| chuckc, thanks for the quick reply. I have a pinnacle that I have been using for the past two years and absolutely love it. It's just that I have the itch to buy a new reel. I'm sure you know how that is. LOL |

Ditto what Chuck said. All I use is Daiwa and Shimano. Can't beat their quality and their performance, never had a problem with them. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

If you want a long lasting and trouble-free reel then get the best Shimano that your pocketbook will allow! Daiwa's are a close second,..everthing else is a very distant third! _________________ Spring is right around the corner!!!
