Hey all just looking to see if anyone on here might be out on the water in the Wolcott or surrounding area over the long weekend. Don't have our big boat down here yet, but got our canoe. Good luck and be safe all.

Well not sure where we'll end up, could be Hitchcock or maybe Scoville. We haven't even been out on our lake yet, too busy getting the house crap done, so it'll be ready when we make the final move in a few weeks. The wife and I will be in a 11' red canoe if we head out to Scoville, so if you're there look us up, be good to meet some new state neighbors.

Later good luck

You just have to check the Angler's Guide Confused :
Quote:
BESECK LAKE, Middlefield (116 acres)

•Species: (LMB YP CB S)
•Other: 8 mph speed limit. See 2011 Boater’s Guide for summer exemption.

Okay, and the Boater's Guide Rolling Eyes :
Quote:
Beseck Lake — Middlefield, 116 acres.
Regulations: 8 mph limit, no water-skiing except for the period June 15 to first Sunday after Labor Day when speeds in excess of 8 mph and water-skiing are permitted between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Launch: West side of Rte. 147 approximately 1.75 miles south of junction of Rts. 66 and 147. Crowded on weekends; shallow waters in northern end of lake. Parking: 20 cars.
