Hey guys,

So I am looking to get some new stuff. I dont have many crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Any suggestions? I know its all over the fishing reports on people using them lately. I only have a few that I have been using but nothing too fancy. Wanted to know what has been working well. Smile

I think Thursday I am going to take my long awaited trip to Cabelas..

They're a little more expensive, but I am all about the T1 Terminator spinners. They are titanium so if they bend with the fish on the end, they snap right back into place when the fish is off, plus the skirts are replaceable.

I saw these at dicks today. Wow yeah they were 9 bucks a piece! Gonna hold off for a bit but they look really nice. I have a few basic spinners. I need to get used to them. It feels extremely heavy when I reel em in.

Steve check the weight of the spinnerbait and the weight recommendation on your rod. Its generally a good idea to have them paired accordingly. Also, big Colorado blades chug and drag in the water and can feel like reeling in an anchor with a lighter action rod. Always try to vary your retrieve when working a spinnerbait and figure out what they are hitting today...there are a ton of different retrieves you can try -> google "spinnerbait retrieves" to get some ideas Very Happy
