Idk justin, it was always 15lbs to win an october ctfishtalk highland t. We used to get a dozen boats there when chuck c and the crew were around. Top 3 bags were always within a lb or so.

Thanks again for yet another flipping demonstration, Jim.

I was the second runner-up in the Miss America pageant, today. After Jim's non-boater was unable to fulfill the duties of his office, Jim called DirtyDawg10 (aka Derek), but found out about the porn movie that Derek was in when he was in college (okay, Jim wasn't able to get in touch with him), so Jim called me. I only wish that I had been able to help out today. Yeah, Jim managed to put five largemouth bass in the livewell all by himself and actually showed with a bag of 8.06 pounds. All of them were caught by flipping weeds in eight to 10 feet of water.

I lost the first largemouth of the day when it spit the hook on my spinnerbait at the boat. I also got a second one to the boat, but lost it when my spinnerbait broke in half. Sonofab*!@# The bass kept the hook and I kept the blades. The same thing happened to me in Hamburg Cove only six days ago! I flipped for a while, but only managed to boat a chain pickerel. Actually, I managed to boat three pickerel today. Jim got one, too.

It was another cold, tough tournament, but I still had a blast. I'll figure out flipping eventually. Oh, and I got to meet hila2006 (aka John and Jenn). Hey, guys!

Congrats to Nickp (aka Nick) and John P, Jr.! Once again, when the going got tough, Nick and his non-boater got going better than everyone else.

wow, surprised to hear about the bag sizes. i bet it was tough because they put the weed control in, it will affect the fish biting for a long time. i dont think ice fishing their will be good this winter.
