I know its still amlittle early for ice fishing but me and my friend started to talk and wondered if anyone has ice fished Daypond in Colchester Ct? I know they stock the piss out of it with trout but I wonder if anyone had any luck ctaching anything under the ice there?

Hi,

I lived in East Hampton for 13 years and fished Day only in the spring.
Day Pond is very shallow gets very warm (always muddy colored water) and the trout do not hold over.
Pretty much "Put and Take".
Lots of stunted Gills and Perch + a few Crappie.
You can give it a try, but don't expect much.

Thanks SeaDog thats what I figured, I live in Colchester and I barely even fish it in the spring because it gets jammed I just stick to Salmon river. Ill probably give it a try and see what happens anyway
