Hi,

Nooby and 111.

Your asking questions about ice for the weekend that "NO ONE" can answer in advance.
Only GOD and Mother Nature control the Wx.

Both of you have got to start reading the posts and watch the Wx reports.

Ah...... so clear now Smile

Anyhow, my choices for this weekend are tyler, westside or winchester.

The real warm WX is behind us and even though the daytime temps for the

rest of the week will be a tad above freezing, the lows should keep the ice

intact for you to fish on.

Hi Dave,

Hmmmmm?

I'd still check the ice from the shore and again and again every few feet.
Scientific fact is ice melts from top down and also from bottom up.

SAFETY - SAFETY - SAFETY -> is the watch word for all to follow with the ice in such an iffy condition.

Oh yes Seadog1: SAFETY first and foremost, especially this season.

We certainly wouldn't want anything bad to happen to our 13 year old

newbie Crying or Very sad

Newbie I am fishing (hopefully) on Sunday. I would do tyler with ya but it

depends where the rest of my crew decides upon.

I had 7.5" of ice last Sunday on winchester and that was after the rain storm
