Thinking of trying west twin. Im figuring it willl have ice seeing as it is right by winchester. Nevver been there before was wondering if anyone knew if it was safe enough to fish and if so where on the lake should i fish. not asking for exact spots just somewhat of what location. Never been there before so i have no idea where guys tend to ice fish it

Hi,

West Twin "is not" near Winchester but way over in Salisbury, Ct. -> a 30-40 minute drive further west. off Rt. 44.

Hi,

NO Exclamation

West Hill is NOT frozen!
It is the very last body of water in Ct. to freeze because of all the springs in it.

Hi,

You do know we had 2 very warm days this week over 50 F or near it.
Plus yesterday and today it got into the 40's.

4" of ice you say? I'd think that over very very carefully because some people have posted (on other sites) a lot less then that there since last Sunday Exclamation Shocked

STAY SAFE Exclamation
