				| Just read an article that although from Iowa is still relevant here. It was talking about the record warm temps, and how they have seen an increase in kayakers and canoers already. Many of them have been seen not wearing life vests or dressing appropriately. 
 One expert guy mentioned a good rule of thumb that I thought worth posting was that if you add the water temperature and the air temperature and they do not add up to 120 then you are at risk for hypothermia. Pretty easy to remember and hopefully keeps us all respectful of the still very cold water temperatures.

				| Should wear a life jacket,, all the time!! these numb nuts that dont wear a life jacket are dumbasses waiting for an accident to happen,, I learned my lesson,, when I was younger, I was a dumbass, but after that I realized how important a life jacket is,,, Dont skimp on a life jacket,,I always see dumbasses on the water in their canoes or kayaks fishing without a vest,, oh well,,,,,DUMBASS,,,,lol,,,,Thats funny |  |
