				| I want to try a new spot this weekend for my 32nd b-day. can anyone give me a possible idea for a chunk baiter? i was thinking about derby dam or down further towards the mouth but dont really know where to go in the area. i have a12ft 10ft 8ft and 7 ft which would be best to bring for the area?I really prefer my 12 and 10 footers. i feel they are better poles and reels. |

Derby Dam is not hot yet but soon. Went there from 5am this morning til 7 and from 5 last night til 7 last night and not 1 hit, no water action but did see a fish get caught both times. Nothing big and didnt see any Herring but know they are there, just not in force yet. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....

Chunking at the dam is not a good look. There might be ppl there who would cut your line for that.

Try a jetty somewhere near a creek outflow or river mouth. _________________ Trust me. Use waxworms ! |

Why is throwing chunk bait frowned upon below the Derby Dam? Do the lines get in the way too much? _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
