				| From what Im reading on here there were more slow spots then productive. Which is a huge buzz kill. Lets hope the rain helps us out! | |

				| I know someone who caught a 5-3/4 pound pre-spawn largemouth bass cow with a white spinnerbait, yesterday, but I'm not allowed to say where. They're out there. _________________

				| My opening day was decent. I made a last-minute decision to not fish in trout-stocked waters. Batterson has been closed since November, but there were only 5 cars in the lot when I arrived at 6:15 a.m. It was perfect prefrontal spinnerbait weather until the hurricane showed up. 7 bass, nice day. Good to have my local toilet open once again. _________________

				| Hey, back off on Batterson, baby!
Seriously, four feet of visibility in the water makes it one of the clearest waters I've seen so far this year. I think that I insulted one of the locals in a nearby boat when I said that I didn't keep the white perch I caught because I don't trust the water. He said that he'd eat any fish out of there, because the water's fine.

BTW, I was just kidding about not trusting the water there. I took and ate my first Connecticut largemouth bass out of Batterson when it didn't survive a swallowed hook. It tasted great and I don't mind having the third testicle.

				| Batterson was two feet low, so a little rain is a good thing. _________________

				| Its been very dry. I couldnt even find nightcrawlers in my lawn for opening day. I was dry 4 or 5 inches down. The rain will change that too! | |
