				| I was down there today throwing a topwater lure and white sluggo, with and without jighead, got a few nibbles but nothing solid. As I was leaving a guy had three rods set up with fishfinders and sandworms. He told me he just had a striper over 30 inches but it shook the hook as he was trying to land it. Hopefully I can get there again soon and try a fishfinder rig and see what will take it. | |

				| I was suprised by that as well especially since the majority of the boardwalk is not visible from the HQ. You would figure they would send someone up and down once in a while. I was there from mid morning until early afternoon and didn't see an officer. | |

				| I have never ran into an oddicer while saltwater fishing except the time they stormed upon a partyboat and was checking for shorts...felt like iwas on an episode of cops. _________________

				| I've never NOT been approached by DEEP there. But I always go at night and have a cooler. I had one identify a fish for me. My first hickory shad which was quite large. I had no clue what it was and wouldn't know now without DEEP. _________________
