My brother came up from Ga last week and wanted me to take him out for some smallies. We hit the launch around 9pm with lightning hitting to the south of the lake we disided to head north. Made it up to lynn denning and the storm came rolling in. We beached the boat and waitted it out under the povilion. Once it passed we hit the water in hopes the fish weren't effected by the passing storm.
Back on the water around 9:45. Working spinnerbaits and it took a while for the 1st fish to show its self on the spinnerbait (2+ smallie). We came up on a rock flat and noticed fish breaking the surface. I have my brother a rod with a jitterbug on it. On his 3rd cast with he nailed a nice 4 1/2 lb smallie only to back it up with its twin within the next five cast. I picked up a few LM on the spinnerbait along with a few 3lb smallies. Total for the trip was 3 lm biggest 3.5 and 7 smallies with my brother taking to two lunkers of the night. pulled off the lake around 3am.
