Should have stayed home, but decided to take a trip to brookfield. My bro was in town and we had planned it early in the week to hit a piece of water that usually produces (the cold front didn't help, I'm sure!!!). On the water 5-10am, pretty cold, but doable. Fished hard for a total of 5 fish, 3 shorts, one bluegill and a rock bass. Missed about 5-6 shorts (they weren't big enough to get hooked). I did miss a good smallie on a dropshot, she came unbuttoned about 10 feet from the boat.

Nice job getting out Mike. Even a bad day of fishing sure beats doing yardwork.
