Is it me or does Offshore mean further than you can cast from shore. I have an license that says offshore starts past a line from Montauk to Block. I look at these forums and have to search trought Yakers. I like everyone that fishes, but keep your stuff to saltwater...that usually covers people that don't go past Montauk! I'm looking for shark and tuna posts.

I'm talkin about Blue Water sharks. Not the ones that get lost and end up in there! Seriously though, I brought in a few inside as well. It took me forever to identify. I also had 5lb Bluefish chopped in halk last year, just southwest of Race rock. Good catch, anywhere you get them.

Many of these "offshore" topics are places I fish in my 14' aluminum boat. I don't think they qualify. Very Happy Should probably have a "saltwater near shore/inshore" report and the offshore. Waiting to see some post about tuna moving in and getting a call from my buddy for my first trip this year!
